Youth is appreciated as the most active time in human life. Another focus is the effective and efficient use of this activity. There is no doubt that, there are a number of factors that directly or indirectly affect the effectiveness and efficiency of youth. These; the position of the institutions and organizations in the youth work related to the problems reported by the youth, which are determined by researchers through the experts. At the same time, youth and its problems have a dynamic structure that is influenced by the internal and external factors that society has. In this sense, the related institutions and organizations working on the field are concerned with the accelerating efforts in recent years related to this. In order to move forward with this coordination, efforts are being made to create a holistic and encompassing policy. This study draws a framework for the problems and general outlook of young people who have reached different dimensions in recent years in Turkey and portrays the practice and recommendations for the current youth policies.

Gençlik, insan hayatında yaşanan en hareketli zaman dilimi olarak takdir edilmektedir. Bu hareketliliğin etkin ve verimli kullanımı ise diğer bir odak noktasıdır. Şüphe yok ki, gençlik döneminin etkinliği ve verimliliğini doğrudan veya dolaylı olarak etkileyen birtakım unsurlar mevcuttur. Bunlar; uzmanlar tarafından araştırmalar yoluyla tespit edilen, gençler tarafından beyan edilen sorunlar ile ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların gençlik çalışmalarındaki konumlarıdır. Aynı zamanda gençlik ve sorunları, toplumun içinde bulunduğu iç ve dış faktörlerden etkilenen dinamik bir yapıya sahiptir. Bu anlamda, alanda çalışma yürüten ilgili kurum ve kuruluşların bununla alakalı son yıllarda ivme kazanan gayretleri söz konusudur. Söz konusu eşgüdümlülük ile çalışmaların daha ileriye taşınması için bütüncül ve kuşatıcı politika oluşturma çalışmaları yürütülmektedir. Bu minvalde çalışma, Türkiye’de son yıllarda farklı boyutlara ulaşan gençliğin sorunlarına ve genel görünümüne dair bir çerçeve çizmekte ve mevcut uygulanan gençlik politikalarına dair uygulama ve önerileri resmetmektedir.
