Abstract (2. Language):
Febrile seizures are the most common form of childhood seizures, and most often occur between the ages of 6 months and 5 years. They are also very benign with no significant long-term effects, but can cause considerable parental anxiety. Febrile seizures are divided into two types, simple febrile seizures and complex febrile seizures. Short-term seizure control of febrile status and careful parental counseling for intermittent treatment are the two most important targets of treatment.
