Abstract (2. Language):
Gastrointestinal symptoms are common in all systemic types of amyloidosis. The clinical picture of amyloidosis in the gastrointestinal tract can, however, be highly variable and can include obstruction, ulceration, malabsorption, hemorrhage, diarrhea and protein loss. Amyloidosis may be cause iron deficiency anemia due to hemorrhage and malabsorbtion. Our case, who presented with iron deficiency anemia, and was diagnosed as having amyloidosis involved gastrointestinal tract. We aimed this case report because of association with iron deficiency anemia and amyloidosis is very rare condition.
