Nephrogenic adenoma of the ureter; a case report

Abstract (2. Language):
USG examination ofa 55-year old female patient presented with left flank pain, nausea, and disuria revealed grade III hydronephrosis. Left ureteral obstruction was detected in retrograde pyelogram. Histological examination ofthe resection specimen obtained from the obstructed area showed a nephrogenic adenoma, characterized by proliferation ofcuboidal cells forming small tubular structures limited to the lamina propria. The histopathological features and differential diagnosis ofthis rare lesion that was incidentally diagnosed was discussed in view ofthe literature.

Sol yan ağrısı, bulantı ve dizüri şikayetleri olan 55 yaşında kadın hastada USG incelemede grade III hidronefroz ve retrograd piyelografide sol üreterde obstrüksiyon saptanmıştır. Bu bölgeye ait rezeksiyon materyalinin histolojik incelemesinde lamina propriada küçük tubuler yapılar oluşturan kübik hücre proliferasyonu ile karakterize Dnefrojenik adenom izlenmiştir. Rastlantısal olarak saptadığımız bu nadir lezyonun histopatolojik özellikleri ve ayırıcı tanısı literatür bilgileri doğrultusunda tartışılmıştır.
