Abstract (2. Language):
We detected renal ectopy and renal artery anomaly in a young hypertensive patient followed in our clinics. We discussed not the importance of renal ectopy but that of the existence of multiple renal arteries in the etiology of hypertension. As a hypothesis, we concluded that the patients with multiple renal arteries or acces¬ sory renal artery have a tendency of having higher renin levels and thereby higher blood pressures.
