Abstract (2. Language):
Nephromegaly detected by clinical examination is an unusual manifestation of lymphoblastic infiltration of the kidneys and this finding may guide identifying the prognosis of the disease. We report a 2.5-year-old girl who had isolated nephromegly. Her peripheral blood smear was normal but bone marrow examination revealed leukemic cell infiltration and her renal findings returned to normal limits after chemotherapy. Here, the importance of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in differential diagnosis of isolated nephromegaly is emphasized.
