The article is about the contributions of the Turkish Society of Nephrology Renal Disaster Group to saving and providing help to the earthquake victims and to the treatment of survivors. The lessons learned from the earthquake and the experiences that may provide examples to other associations are summarized and presented to those working in Healthcare Services.

Yazıda Van Depreminin ardından, Türk Nefroloji Derneği Renal Afet Gurubu’nun depremzedeleri kurtarma ve yardım faaliyetlerine katılmaları ve enkazdan kurtarılan hastaların tedavilerinde önemli katkıların sağlandığı anlatılmaktadır. Depremlerden çıkarılan dersler ve diğer derneklere örnek olabilecek deneyimler ve destekler özetlenerek, sağlık alanında çalışanlara sunulmaktadır.
