BÖBREK TRANSPLANTASYONU YAPILAN HASTALARDA SERUM SOLUBL ÎNTERLÖKÎN-2 RESEPTÖR DÜZEYİ ÖLÇÜMÜNÜN AKUT REJEKSÎYON TANISINDAKİ DEĞERİ

THE VALUE OF SERUM SOLUBLE INTERLEUKÎN-2 RECEPTOR LEVELS IN DIAGNOSIS OF ACUTE REJECTION IN RENAL TRANSPLANT RECİPLENTS

Abstract (2. Language):
Soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R) levels were measured as a marker of T lymphocyte activation in serial serum samples from 15 renal transplant recipients and 15 healthy subjects. Pretransplant serum SİL-2R levels were significantly elevated above the normal controls (p< 0.0001).These values were decreased in patients with stable graft function after transplantation (p< 0.0001). In patients with acute rejection, serum sIL-2R levels were significantly higher than in those with other causes of graft dysfunction (p< 0.001) or stable graft function (p < 0.0001). The results suggest that serum SİL-2R monitoring may have a role in the early diagnosis of acute rejection.
