KRONİK BÖBREK YETMEZLİĞİNDE PROTEİN ALIMININ PROGRESYON ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

EFFECT OF PROTEIN INTAKE ON THE PROGRESSION OF CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
The amount of protein in the diet is one of the factors determining the rate of progression of chronic renal failure. Since 1980, reducing dietary protein intake has received most attention as a potential intervention to slow the rate of progression of chronic renal failure. Studies in humans have shown different results. In this article, the studies on the effect of restricting dietary protein on the progression of renal failure are reviewed.
Abstract (Original Language):
Kronik böbrek yetmezliğinde progresyonu belirleyen birçok faktörden biri, diyetle alınan proteinin miktarıdır. 1980' lerden itibaren diyetle alınan proteinin kısıtlanmasının, kronik böbrek yetmezliği sürecini yavaşlatmadaki potansiyel etkisi dikkat çekmiştir. İnsanlarda yapılan çalışmalarda farklı sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Bu yazıda, düşük proteinli diyetin böbrek yetmezliği progresyonunu önlemedeki etkisi üzerine yapılmış çalışmalar özetlenmiştir.
