Abstract (2. Language):
This study attempts to show how the human rights regime plays a role in the establishment and continuation of the new colonial order. In this context, the study primarily deals with the universal claim of human rights regime and how this claim disciplines the third world through Western standards. In order to clarify theoretical arguments, the study will take a close look at how human rights in general and women’s rights in particular are put into effect during and after the US occupation of Afghanistan.
