One of the most impressive and shortest ways of expressing and
conveying something can be considered literature. The interest of fiction
has existed in various ways since the earliest times. Along with the
emergence of the word in this sense, the results of this narrative desire
appeared with different types and took place in the history of literature.
The mysterious transfer of the myths from the oral period, style of the
epics, the existence of the legends, and the first times in the history of
mankind have been recorded in oral form. This transfer requirement also
shows that you need to utilize the fiction while trying to fit in an
understanding of events that societies can not understand. In addition to
literature, visual arts is another way of telling a film / series. The cinema,
which has a history of about a century, has benefited from literary genres
as a scenario. It is not possible to recall it when it is thought that cinema
has a power to hold in many art branches. However, this relationship can
be said to have been mostly with the novel type. In different periods there
are novels whose masterpieces are adapted to the cinema. The novel Kurt
Kanunu of Kemal Tahir was also visualized as a television series,
influenced by cinema-literature interaction. Kemal Tahir, who describes
a wide range of historical processes, is important in this visualization
choice. This work will focus on the visualization of the novel Kurt
Kanunu, a literary text, as a series.

Bir şeyleri anlatma ve aktarma isteğinin en etkileyici ve en kestirme yollarından biri edebiyat olarak kabul edilebilir. İnsanın kurguya ilgisi, değişik yollarla en eski devirlerden bu yana var olagelmiştir. Bu anlamda sözün ortaya çıkışı ile beraber bu anlatma isteğinin sonuçları değişik türleri ile ortaya çıkmış ve edebiyat tarihi içerisinde yer almıştır. Sözlü dönemlerden kalma mitlerin esrarengiz aktarımı, destanların hamasi üslubu, efsanelerin varlığı insanlık tarihinde ilk zamanlar sözlü sonra yazılı olarak kayda geçirilmiştir. Bu aktarma ihtiyacı toplumların anlamlandıramadığı olayları bir anlama sığdırmaya çalışırken kurgudan yararlanma ihtiyacı duyduğunu da gösterir. Edebiyatın yanı sıra görsel sanatlar da sinema/dizi olarak göstererek anlatmanın bir başka yoludur. Yaklaşık bir asırlık bir geçmişe sahip olan sinema gerek konu gerekse senaryo olarak edebiyat türlerinden faydalanmıştır. Sinemanın birçok sanat dalını içinde barındırabilecek bir güce sahip olduğu düşünüldüğünde bunu yadırgamamak gerekir. Ancak bu ilişki en çok roman türü ile olmuş denilebilir. Değişik dönemlerde başyapıtların sinemaya uyarlaması olarak yer alan romanlar vardır. Kemal Tahir'in Kurt Kanunu romanı da sinema-edebiyat etkileşiminden etkilenerek televizyon dizisi olarak görselleştirilmiştir. Geniş bir tarihi süreci anlatan Kemal Tahir bu görselleştirme seçiminde önemlidir. Yapılan bu çalışmada, bir edebi metin olan Kurt Kanunu romanının dizi olarak görselleştirilmesi üzerinde durulacaktır.
