There is no literature which deals with historical topics during the Servet-i Fünun period. Because writers who had gathered around "Servet-i Fünun" journal were opposite religious and historical topics. in addition they were joined Realism movement. But when the Servet-i Fünun period was over, they started to mention historical topics

Servet-i Fünuncular, tarih konusuna pek az yer vermişlerdir. Onlar Servet-i Fünun döneminde II. Abdülhamid iktidarına muhalif olduklarından ve Realizm akımına bağlı kaldıklarından tarih konusuna yer vermemişlerdir. Ancak Servet-i Fünun sonrası dönemde değişik şekillerde tarihe eğildiklerini görüyoruz.
