Abstract (2. Language):
Acutelimb ischemia is a clinical entity with a prompt onset and which may end up with limb loss or even death if left untreated. Early recognition may prevent limb loss or death. However due to delay in diagnosis valuable time for early intervention may be lost. It is crucial to diagnose acute limb ischemia in primary care and refer the patients to emergent intervention on time. Acute limb ischemia is the third most common emergency case in vascular surgery following aneurysm ruptures and arterial injuries. Treatment succes rate depends on early diagnosis and timely intervention.
