Abstract (2. Language): 
Systemic family medicine is a new way of practice in Europe evolving from the integration of system theory with family practice and family therapy. It tries to manage daily, fragmented clinical pic¬tures and conditions in a comprehensive way. Eventhough sys¬temic family medicine is not family therapy, it promotes the work with families and supports the individual to become healthier.

Sistemik aile hekimliği Avrupa'da oldukça yeni gündeme gelen bir klinik uygulamadır. Aile hekimliği, aile terapisi ve sistem kuramının birleştirilmesinden doğmuştur. Gündelik, bölünmüş klinik tablo ve durumları bir bütün olarak ele alarak yönetmeye çalışır. Sistemik aile hekimliği bir aile terapisi yaklaşımı olmasa da ailelerle çalışmayı teşvik edip, bireyin sağlığına kavuşmasında etkili rol alabilecektir.
