Abstract (2. Language):
Gastroesophageal reflux is defined to be the reflux of gastric contents to the esophagus. Laringopharyngeal reflux is the reflux of acidic contents to the larynx and pharynx by passing through upper esophageal sphincter. In this article the symptomatology of gastroesophageal and laryngopharyngeal reflux, the physiopathology, treatment and complications of these symptoms are summarized.
