TEKSTİL BOYAMA ATIKSULARININ OZONLAMA İLE RENK GİDERİMİ

Decolorisation of Textile Effluents By Ozonation

Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
The color of textile dyehouse effluents compose an aesthethic problem as well as toxcity in case of spome dyestuffs and removal of color is desired. Complete decolorisation of the colored effluent can not be achieved by conventional treatment processes. Ozone, a stong oxidative agent, not only removes the color of the effluent but also reduces the organic pollution values. At this study, a literature review has been made to investigate the effect of process parameters such as pH, temperature, mechanical agitation, effluent composition and ozone dosage as well as the effectiveness of ozonation on color and organic pollution removal. Higher or lower pH values rather than neutral and high mechanical agitation seems to accelerate the process although dybath additives slow down the process.
