In this paper, a hybrid technique combining the vector finite element method(FEM) and the method of moments(MoM) is presented to calculate electromagnetic analysis in rectangular enclosures with aperture. The interior and exterior regions of the enclosure are analyzed separately by employing the field equivalence princi-ple. While FEM is used for solving EM fields inside the enclosure, MoM is used for solving the surface integrals related with the aperture field components using equivalent surface currents. The hybrid method is applied to an empty and loaded enclosure. Results are compared with literature and good agreement is reported. Then, for different configurations of aperture and enclosure, shielding effectiveness, stored electrical energy ratio and dissipated power are examined.

Açıklığa sahip bir rezonatorün içerisindeki alan dağılımını hesaplamak için moment metodu(MoM) ile vektörel sonlu elemanlar metodunu (FEM) birleştiren hibrit bir formülasyon sunuldu. Rezonatörün içerisindeki elektromanyetik alanlar sonlu elemanlar metodu ile hesaplandı ve açıklıktaki sınır koşulundan elde edilen inte-gral denklem moment metodu ile çözüldü. Hibrit metot yüklü ve yüksüz durumdaki bir rezonatöre uygulandı. Sonuçlar literatürdeki sonuçlarla karşılaştırıldı ve aralarında uyum olduğu görüldü. Daha sonra farklı açıklık ve rezonatör konfigürasyonları için ekranlama etkinliği, depolanan elektriksel enerji ve kayıp güç yoğunluğu incelendi.
