Abstract (2. Language):
The formation of part families is considered as auxiliary process to automation of applications following design such as analysis, test and group technology. A number of traditional techniques have been proposed to form the part families. Recently, significant consideration is given to apply the artificial techniques in part family formation process. In this paper, an approach, which incorporates neural network and feature recognition techniques, is presented to form the part families as being based on design and manufacturing attributes. Part families which consist of three dimensional parts are automatically generated from design data base with the proposed approach.
Abstract (Original Language):
Parça ailelerinin oluşturulması işlemi, analiz, test, grup teknolojisi gibi tasarım sonrası uygulamaların otomasyonuna yardımcı olmaktadır. Parça ailelerinin oluşturulmasında kullanılan çok sayıda geleneksel yöntemin yanında, son yıllarda yapay zeka tekniklerini kullanan gruplama çalışmalarına da rastlanmaktadır. Bu makalede, parça ailelerinin oluşturulmasında, parçaların tasarım özellikleri yanında, sinirsel ağlarla unsur tanıma sisteminin birlikte kullanılmasıyla, parçaların imalat özelliklerini de dikkate alan bir yaklaşım önerilmektedir. Önerilen yaklaşım, tasarım modelinden otomatik olarak üç boyutlu parça ailelerini oluşturabilmektedir.
