Abstract (2. Language):
This paper looks at long term development of relationship between inter-regional global income inequality and economic growth. Using data from Angus Madison and applying method is based on Gini inequality index. It is shown that the inter-regional income inequality has corrupted sharply during long term period in the world (from 1950-98) and corruption of inter-regional global income inequality effected negatively to real economic growth.
Abstract (Original Language):
Bu çalışma, ülkeler arası küresel gelir eşitsizlikle reel büyüme ilişkisinin uzun dönemli gelişimini konu almıştır. Uygulamada kullanılan veriler Angus Maddison’dan alınmış olup uygulama yöntemi gini eşitsizlik endeksine dayanmaktadır. Uygulama sonuçları, küresel çapta ülkeler-arası gelir dağılımında keskin bir bozulmanın uzun dönem için (1950–98) geçerli olduğunu ve bölgelerarası küresel gelir dağılımındaki bozulmanın reel ekonomik büyümeyi ters yönde etkilediğini göstermektedir.
