Türkiye’de Ekonomik Büyüme ve Turizm İlişkisi Üzerine Ekonometrik Analiz

The role of tourism on economic growth in the long-run for Turkey is examined in
this paper for the period of 1992:1-2007:2. The tourism-led growth hypothesis is confirmed through Johansen co-integration and error correction-augmented Granger causality tests. The results demonstrate that during the last 15 years tourism stimulated economic growth in Turkey.
