In this development, the main services and design steps of an information management portal which aims at satisfying the user requirements and utilize the information efficiently within an organization is described. The architecture, by which it is possible to create a personalized window according to one’s own needs, to arrange the access rights, to integrate functionalities such as e-mail, project management and etc. is covered in detail. Furthermore, the technology and software used to develop the so called I-mP portal is explained.

Bu çalışmada, web sitelerine erişimi etkin hale getirmek ve kullanıcı gereksinimlerini karşılayacak şekilde düzenleyerek bilgi yönetimini desteklemek amacıyla geliştirilen bir portal yazılımının sağladığı temel servisler ve geliştirme aşamaları özetlenmiştir. Geliştirilen portal yazılımının temel mimari yapısı, bu mimari yapı içinde sağlanan kişisel sayfa düzenleme, erişim yetki düzenlemesi, e-posta ve benzeri sistemlerle entegrasyon, proje yönetimi ve benzeri hususlar detaylı olarak açıklanmaktadır. Ayrıca, portal yazılımının geliştirilmesinde kullanılan teknolojiler ve yazılım araçları özetlenmektedir.
