Abstract (2. Language):
Mehmet Akif uses the word "father" in literal and
symbolic sense. As in literal sense, father is a one of the
most important components; in symbolic sense, it is used
as a meaning of state, religion, caliph/sultan, scholar,
grandfather, ancestry, prophet, and God. But anyway,
relation between father and son in the poems of Akif is
edited over "separation". This separation may appear in a
different ways such as in times, location, age, profession,
pleasure, ethics, perception, feeling and spirit.

Abstract (Original Language):
Mehmet Akif, “baba” kelimesini hem gerçek hem
de sembolik anlamlarda kullanır. Gerçek anlamıyla baba,
ailenin en önemli rükünlerinden birisiyken sembolik
anlamıyla baba; devlet, din, halife/sultan, âlim, dede,
ecdat, Hz. Peygamber hatta Allah anlamlarında kullanılır.
Fakat her ne sekilde olursa olsun Akif’in siirlerindeki
baba-oğul iliskisi “ayrılık” leit-motifi üzerine
kurgulanmıstır. Bu ayrılık; zamanda, mekânda, yasta,
meslekte, zevkte, ahlakta, anlayısta, histe ve ruhta olmak
üzere çok farklı sekillerde tezahür edebilir.
