The subject "woman" is an important matter in Turkish theater. Güngör Dilmen's play "the sacrifice" is about the drama of the woman called Zehra who rebels against male dominant traditions. However Zehra's fight is personel it also has a social meaning. The author makes social critics through the medium of Zehra.
