Abstract (2. Language):
Recent studies reported that low vitamin D levels are related to nonspesific musculoskeletal symptoms. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of vitamin D levels in premenopousal women with musculoskeletal pain. The study group consists of 68 premenouposal women with musculoskeletal pain. Patients were divided in two groups as low and normal vitamin D levels. We did not found any differences of pain score, sleep quality, Beck depression score, number of tender points and, serum parathormon, alkaline phosphatase, calcium and phosphorus levels between the groups. further studies are needed to investigate the role of vitamin D in patients with musculoskeletal pain.
