Abstract (2. Language): 
This article, mainly, aimes to give an information about globalization and europeanization processes and to make a comparative evaluation between (hem. From this perspective, at the first hand it briefly discusses the main powers, motives and policies behind these two processes, and especially tries to give the framework of the European social model and the European welfare state as the distinctive features of the European integration. Then it comes to the debates on the effects of the globalization on the Europaen welfare state and the position of The European Union against the globalization. Within this framework, it comes to the conclusion that there are several questions and unknown answers for the future of the europeanization process.

Bu makale, özünde, küreselleşme ve Avrupalılaşma •konusunda temel bir bilgi vermeyi ve her iki süreç arasında kıyaslamak bir değerlendirme yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bakış açısıyla, ilk olarak, her iki sürecin arkasında yer alan güçler, güdüler ve politikalara değinilmekte ve Avrupa bütünleşmesinin arkasında farklı Özellikler olarak görülen Avrupa toplum modeli ve Avrupa refah devleti hakkında genel bir bilgi verilmekledir. Daha sonra, küreselleşmenin Avrupa refah devleti üzerindeki etkilerini ve küreselleşme karşısında Avrupa Birliği'nin konumunu ele alan tartışmalara yer verilmekte ve bu tartışmalar çerçevesinde Avrupa 'daki bütünleşmenin geleceği konusundaki soru işaretlerine gelinmektedir.
