Abstract (2. Language): 
In this study, pyhsical and mechanical properties of some sedimentary rocks (limestone and marl) taken from E.L.İ. Soma-Işıklar, Eynez, G.L.İ. Tunçbilek and S.L.İ. Seyitömer öpenpit mines were determined. Relations between uniaxial compressive strength and other pyhsical and mechanical properties of these rocks were searched by the statistical analysis of tests results.

Bu çalışmada, E.L.İ. Soma-Işıklar, Eynez, G.L.İ. Tunçbilek ve S.L.İ. Seyitömer açık ocaklarından alınan tortul kayaçların (kireçtaşı, marn) tek eksenli basınç dayanımları ile bazı fiziksel ve mekanik özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Deney sonuçları istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiş, kayaçların tek eksenli basınç dayanımı ile diğer fiziksel ve mekanik özellikleri arasında ilişkiler araştırılmıştır.
