Anganwadi workers and helpers are engaged by the government to work in the state-operated Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS). This scheme caters to the health and pre-school education needs of children from birth to six years of age and also to the health and nutrition needs of pregnant women, nursing mothers, and adolescent girls, to study the profile of Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) .To assess knowledge of AWWs & problems faced by them while working. The author discussed on “knowledge of Anganwadi workers and their problems” with special reference to Gadwal (Rural), Mahabubnagar, District .AP.
