Abstract (2. Language):
So far, there are many researches have investigated how religion affect a country’s foreign policy. There is a discussion whether religion is a real factor in shaping foreign policy or whether it plays only a legitimizing tool. In this sense, Pakistan is a unique case how religion and foreign policy affect each other. Islam internally plays a unifying role over nationals in Pakistan, which consists of many ethnic groups. In international arena, the only difference between Pakistan and India is religion, which is used as a main reason in creating independent Pakistan.
