Abstract (2. Language): 
Various theories for explaining international trade have been put forward since Adam Smith. Following deficiencies occured after 1960s in classical trade theories about explaining foreign trade have led to development of new trade liberalisation theories. It is seen that new trade liberalisation theories differ greatly than classical trade liberalisation theories as they mainly focus on markets of imperfect competition, scale economies, technology and research and development areas.

A. Smith'den günümüze, uluslararası ticareti açıklamaya yönelik çeşitli teoriler ortaya atılmıştır. Klasik ticaret teorilerinin özellikle I960'lardan itibaren mevcut dış ticareti açıklamada yetersiz kalması yeni ticari serbestleşme teorilerinin gelişimine olanak sağlamıştır. Yeni ticari serbestleşme teorilerinin, klasik ticari serbestleşme teorilerinden önemli ölçüde ayrılarak, eksik rekabet piyasaları, ölçek ekonomileri, Teknoloji ve Ar-Se yarışı üzerinde yoğunlaştığı görülmektedir.
