Örgütsel vatandaşlık davranışı (ÖVD) kavramı genel olarak beş boyutta ele alınmaktadır: Diğergamlık, sivil erdem, vicdanlılık, sportmenlik ve nezaket. Bu çalışmada, geliştirilen bir soru formu aracılığı ile üniversite öğrencilerinin başarıları ve öğrencilerin bazı demografik özellikleri ile ÖVD düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiler veya farklılıklar araştırılmıştır. Yapılan korelasyon analizlerinde, başarı seviyesi ile ÖVD düzeyi arasında pozitif yönlü, yaş ve tekrara kalınan ders sayısı ile ÖVD arasında ters yönlü ilişkiler saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, yapılan farklılık analizleri ile de öğrencilerin öğrenim gördükleri sınıfları itibariyle (kaçıncı sınıfta oldukları) ve öğrencilerin gündüz ya da ikinci öğretim öğrencileri olmaları itibariyle ÖVD’nın farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir.
