Journal Name:

Publication Year:

Abstract (2. Language):
This research aims at determining whether the school type, class level, gender, age, career maturity, parental attitudes and vocational personality type of the adolescents can predict their conception of work. The study group of the research comprised a total of 1402 students (804 female, 598 male) The data obtained in the research were analyzed using standard regression analysis. It was found at the end of the research that career maturity was the most important predictor of conception of work and conception of work self determination, while protective–demanding parental attitude was the most significant predictor of the conception of work survival–power. The class level, authoritative parental attitude, realistic and traditional vocational personality type were found to have no contribution to the prediction of the conception of work, conception of work survival-power and conception of work self determination.
