WOMAN AS THE THEME IN WORKS OF ART: A RESEARCH ON VARIOUS ARTISTIC PERIODS

Abstract (2. Language):
The general problems of a period or of an era reflected in the plastic art products
appeared with the primitive man who started painting, and the human being who is steadily
increasing his conception in his paintings reflected the changes in human society within his
works of art. The artist discovers the conflicts ofconsciousness of his inner world, and solves
it in a work of art. The solution of conflicts is areflection of the conflicts developing within
the society itself in the solution process. In thisstudy, considering the woman as a theme in
the works of art, the works of art dealing with thepreparation of the communities for new
situations will be attempted to be defined within adifferent perspective.Thus, it is aimed to
investigate the artistic developments and the confessions concerning the attitudes of the
relationship between woman as a theme in the works of art and the economic, social and
political conditions of the periods of human communities, and moreover, to investigate the
aesthetic perceptions in the works of art.
Rather than explaining the works of art by reporting known historical context, we can
put forward the historical conditions of an era, about which we do not know anything, by
examining a work of art. Along with the woman as a theme in the works of art, the art can, in a way, be considered as a sign of a mutual interaction of the art and the relationship between
social change and art. Art is the symbol to transfer the message to the masses in the social
exchanges. In this case, transformation of the cultural benefits in transition process from one
state to another within the social relations in a society, will also mean a form of social change.

Bir dönemin veya çağın genel sorunlarını plastik sanat ürünlerinde görmek ilk çağlardan
bu yana resim yapmaya başlanmasıyla kendini göstermişve giderek resimlerindeki anlamını
arttıran insanoğlu toplumsal değişimleri ürünlerinde yansıtmıştır. Sanatçı iç dünyaya ilişkin
bilincindeki çelişmeyi keşfeder ve onu sanat eseri içinde çözer. Çözüm sürecinde toplumun
kendi içinde gelişmekte olan çelişmelerin yansımasıdır.
Bu çalışmada; Sanat eserindeki kadın teması ile toplumlarınyeni durumlara karşı
hazırlığını farklı bir bakışaçısıyla sanat eserleri tanımlanmaya çalışılacaktır. Böylece sanatsal
gelişimleri ve sanat eserindeki kadın teması ile insan toplulukları dönemlerinin ekonomik,
sosyal, politik koşulları arasındaki tutumları ile ilgili itirafları sanat eserlerinde estetik algıları
araştırılması hedeflenmektedir.
Sanat eserlerini bilinen tarihsel koşulların göz önüne serilmesi ile açıklamak yerine,
hakkında bir şey bilmediğimiz bir devrin tarihsel koşullarına, sanat eserini inceleyerek ortaya koyabiliriz. Sanat eserindeki, kadın teması ile birlikte, sanat bir açıdan toplumsal değişme ve
sanat arasındaki ilişkinin karşılıklı etkileşim içinde oldu belirtisi sayılabilir. Sanat toplumsal
değişimlerde kitlelere mesajı aktarma sembolüdür. Bu durumda bir toplumda toplumsal
ilişkilerde meydana gelen bir durumdan başka bir duruma geçişte kültürel yararların durum
değiştirmesi de toplumsal değişme anlamını taşır.
