In this study, it was investigated that die transverse strength of acrylic resin test specimens repaired with Sp)int-Tt, heat-cured and autopolimeiising acrylic rtsln. Intact heat-cured specimens were used sis control group. Intact and repaired acrylic resin specimens were tested after storage in distilled water at room LctnpcraEure lor 17 days. Tn testing procedure, a load was applied centrally to the specimens at the cross-head speed of Smm/min using Hounsficld Tcnsomelcr. Ttie values obtained were compared statistically. Statistically, significant differences (p<0,000) were found between the "roups and it was determined that these differences were due to the control group and Splint-It group. No significant differences (p>0,05) were found between the control group and Splint-It group. However; when these two group? were compared to the other groups, it was found thai they exhibited a significant difference (p<0,05).

Bu çalışmada: ısı ile polımerı/.e olan akrılik rc/rıı, otûpolirnerizan akrilik rezııı ve Splirıt-It ile tamir edilmiş olan akrilik rezin örneklerin dirençleri incelenmiştir. Hiçbir lamir işlemi uygulanmaksızın sağlam olarak ayrıları örnekler kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Sağlam ve [amir edilmiş akrilik rezin örnekler 17 gün süreyle oda sıcaklığındaki saf suda bekletildikten sonra test edilmişlerdir. Test işleminde, örneklere Hûiinsh'ekl tensometresi kullanılarak 5ram/dakikfi başlik hızı ile kuvvet uygulanmıştır. P.ldc edilen değerler istatistiksel olarak karsıtaştırılmıslır. Yapılan istatistiksel değerlendirme sonucunda; gruplar arasında önemli bir farklılık olduğu (p<0,000) belirlenmiş vç bu farklılığın kontrol grubu ile Splint-lt grubundan kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir. Kontrol grubu ile Splint-It grubu arasındaki farklılık önemsizken (p>0.05), hu iki grup ile diğer tamir materyalleri arasında önemli bir farklılık olduğu (p<0,05) gorülmtiştür.
