Abstract (2. Language):
This study has been intended to analyze the inlluenee of repairing material, monomer application and repairing interval on the transverse strength of acrylic sample?" which are repaired with autopolymerizan acrylic resins which are polymerised with the heat. We have prepared a sum of 150 samples of the 65x10x2.5 mm. dimensions in accordance with The appropriate to A.D.A. 12 specification. We have formed two different repairing intervals, one being 3 min. in half of them and the other 5 mm. in the rest. The samples have been divided into five groups, each having equal numbers of samples. While one group hasnt been applied monomer, the other groups have, been given monomer at different periods f:530. 60,180 sec ). Repayments have been made with acrylic, which can be polymerized with QC- 20, Major repair and Self cure acrylic resine. After the repaired samples have been kept in distilled water for 48 hours, their transverse strength have been fixed at the 1 lotmsfield lesL machine. The statisticallv evaluation has shown that the samples repaired with heat polymerizing acrylics shows a higher transverse strength than the ones repaired with autopflymcrizing acrylics: that the samples given 180 see monomer show a higher transverse strength than the other samples: and that the amplitude of repairing interval is ol no significance.

Bu çalışmada, ısıyla pohmeri/e olan vc oLupolimerizaıı akrilik rc/jıılerle tamir edilen akrilik örneklerin kırılma mukavemetleri ii/erine; tamir materyalinin, monomer uygulamanın ve tamir, aralığımı] etkisi incelendi. Bu amaçla, ADA nın 12'nolu spcsill kalyonuna uygun 65xt(k2-5 mm. boyutlarında toplam 150• örnek hazırlandı. Bu örneklerin yarısında 3 mm. İlk, diğer yarısında ise S mm. lik iki farklı tamir aralığı oluşturuldu. Örnekler, eşit sayıda olacak şekilde 5 gruba bölündü. Bir anıba monomer uygulanma/kem diğer gruplara değişik s tirelerle (5sn, 3Ûsn."60sm İSO sn) monomer uygulandı vc QC- 20, Mator repair vc Self cure akrilik re/in ile tamir işlemleri yapıldı. Tamir edilen örnekler, 48 saat distile suda bekletildikten sonra Ilcunsficld test makınasmda kın S ma mukavemetleri tesbıt edildi. Yapılan istatistiksel değerlendirme sonucunda; ısıyla polimeri/e edilen akrillklcrle tamiri yapılan örneklerin. ûTopolimerizan akrilik! eri e tamiri yapılanlardan. 180 sn monomer uygulanan örneklerin he diğer örneklerden daha fazla kırılma mukavemeti gösterdiği, tamir aralığının büyüklüğünün önemli ûlmadıgı saptandı.
