TÜKÜRÜK KARBONİK ANHIDRAZ AKTIVITESININ DİŞ ÇÜRÜĞÜ VE TAMPONLAMA KAPASİTESİ İLE İLİŞKİSİNİN İNCELENMESİ

CAV[ plays a specific role in the natural defense systems against dental caries. Caries is a consequence ol the dissolving of dental hard tissues under the add conditions prevailing beneath dental plaque In the present studv, saliva carbonic anhydrase activity levels were investigated in carrions subjects. Saliva samples were collected from 50 subjects which are 20-35 years of aye. Salivary secretion rate, buffering capacity, lactobaeillus and streptococcus mutans counts were aho determined, and the results were correlated with the dental status of the subjects. The correlation was between salivary CAVI activity and the numbers of decayed missing and Tilled ;celh (DMKT index). However, no correlation was found between salivary CAV1 activity and lactobaeillus or streptococcus mutans counts. Also, it was found no correlation between salivary CAVI activity and buffering capacity, sat i van' secretion rate.

CA VI dig çürükleri karşısında doğal korunma sistemleri içinde spesifik bir rol oynar, Çürük; dış plağı vc asil ortam d tında diş sert dokularının çözülmesinin bir sonucudur. Bu çalışmada, tükürük karbonik anhidra/. aktivite seviyeleri çürüklü numunelerde araştırıldı. Tükürük numuneleri 20-35 yaşlan arasındaki 50 örnekten toplandı. Aynı zamanda, tükürük akış hızı, tamponlama kapasitemi, laktobasîl ve streptokoku* mutans miktarları belirlendi ve sonuçlar örneklerin dental statüleriyle ilişki! cndırıldi. Tükürük CA VI akıivitesi ile çürük, eksik ve dolgulu dış sayısı (DMFT indeksi) arasında istatistiksel olarak önemli ilişki bulundu (p<0.05). Bununla birlikte, tükürük CA VI akü vitesi vc laktobasîl veya streptokoku* mutans miktarları arasında ilişki bulunamadı. Bunun yanı sıra, tükürük CA VI akli vitesi yle tamponlama kapasitesi ve tükürük akış hızı anısında da ilişki bulunamadı.
