THE PREVALENCE OF CARIES IN 2-5 AGE GROUP CHILDREN AND THE EVALUATION OE SOME KISK FACTORS IN ERZURUM, BURSA AND İSPARTA PROVINCES

In order to reduce caries prevalence in preschool children, tinding out the regional reasons is significant. For this purpose, three cities from different geographical regions of Turkey were chosen. The research includes 356 children, 248 of who were chosen from crKshes of Erzurum where (he children of families either with low or high social economic levels go and from the children who applied to our department for treatment. 108 of the children were studied in Kursa, hi Erzurum caries rule was found TO be 62 %, nursing caries rule 18 %, dmf-t=2, 49 and the speed of caries prevalence - 68,5 where at in Bursa caries rate ivas 43 % .nursing caries rate 14 %, dmf-l -2. 77 and caries prevalence speed =433- The result that there was a close relationship between brushing and dental caries once again proved the importance of making parents conscious of this problem. The obtained data were statistically compared and evaluated.

çocuklarda çürük sıklığının azaltılmam cin yaşanılan bölgelere göre nedenlerin ortaya konması inemlidir Bu amaçla Türkiye' nin farklı coğraSlk ıöl gelelinde yer alan üç şehir seçilmiştir. Çalışma düşük ve yüksek sosyo-ekonomik düzeydeki ailelerin çocuklarının gittiği kreşlerde bulunan Erzurum'da 24H, İsparta'da 133 vc Bursa ilinde 108 olmak Ü7.crc, toplam 489 çocuğu fiiıpsıamîiktadif. Erzurum için çürük oranı % 62, biberon îiiruğıi oranı c/r> 18, dml'-i - 2 . 49. çürük prcvalans hıy.ı = % töjî, İsparta'da çürük oranı %72, biberon çürüğü oram #.17. dmf-l =2.63, çürük prcvalans hızı = % 59.3 vc Bursa'da çürük oranı % 43, biberon çürüğü ora.ni % ] 4, J.mf-1 = 2. 77, çürük prevalans hızı = % 4 3 5 bulunmuştur, hirealama ile diş çürüğü arasında uıkın ilişkinin ortaya yıkması, chcveynlerin bilinçlendirilmesinin önemini bir kez daha onaya koymuştur. Bide edilen veriler isLaListıksel jlarak karşılaştırılmış ve değerlendirilmiştir.
