radicular cyst is a cyst which arises from the epithelial residues in the periodontia ligament as a result cA inflammation, usually following death of the pulp- With incomplete removal of radicular or periapical cystic cphitelium, a residual cyst may develop from months to years after the. initial treatment. Bone grafting of cystic jaw lesions is able to enhance osteogenesis and maintain the desired shape of the bone ultimately formed. Utilization of autogenous bone is associated with increased morbidity, whereas allogeneic or synthetic bone is quite expensive. Hnnelection akmc as suggested by the authors might be a reasonable choice. I he purpose of this article is to present a large mandibular cyst case and discuss with previous cases in the literature.

l-iadikülcr kist, genellikle pulpa nekrozunu takiben görülen inflamasyonurt sonucu olarak ve periodontal liga-rnenücki epitelyal arlıklardan oluşan bir kısLlir. Radiküler kist veya periapikal kişilerin başlangıç tedavisi sırasında kist epiteli tamamen çıkarı lamazsa, takip eden aylar hatta yıllar sonra rc/.idüel kistler gelişebilmekledir. Kiktik çene lezyonlannda meydana gelen kemik boşluğunun giderilmesinde kemik grefti uygulanması tavsiye edilebilir. Otojeıı kemiğin kullanılması yüksek dii/.eydc morbiditc oluşturur, ancak allojcnık veya sentetik kemik de oldukça pahalıdır- Araştırmacılar tarafından önerildiği gibi tek başına enuklcasyon makul bir seçim ola^ bilmektedir. Bu makalenin amacı; geniş bir mandibuler kist vakasını sunmak ve literatür desteğiyle tartışmaktır.
