REZİN MODIFIYE CAM IYONOMERS İMANLAR

Abstract (2. Language):
The traditional glass ionomer cements, first introduced to dental profession by Wilson & Kent in 1972. Conventional glass-ionomer cements have been used variety of clinical applications because ol" their beneficial properties, such as adhesion to enamel and dentin, release of fluoride ions into adjancent tooth structure, cocllieient of thermal expansion is similar to that of denlin anü biocompatibılity with dental tisues. However, severe! problems have also been demostrated for example; working time is so short, setting time is long, they show consistent sensitivity to dehydration, they arc susceptablc to early moisture contamination. Recently, resin modified glass-ionomer cements have been developed . Resin modified glass-iunomci cements were used as restorative materials and luting agents. These materials are hybrids of silicates and carboxylase cements and leach fluoride into adjacent tooth structure over long periods.

Son zamanlarda yapısında rc/in içeren , rcin modifiyc cam iy-onomer simanlar geliştirilmiştir. Genellikle res to rat if mater-val ve yapıştırıcı si man olarak kullanılmaktadırlar Bu simanlar silikat ve karboksilat siman özelliklerinin bileşiminden olunmaktadır ve bulunduğu diş dokularına uzun süreli olarak llorür salmaktadır.
