Abstract (2. Language): 
From the complete denture stability point of view, tooth position, contours> and shape of the polished surface of the denture are important factors. The neutral zone is the area where the forces of the tongue pressing outward are neutralized by the forces of the cheeks and lips pressing inward. Complete dentures should occupy a position in the mouth where all forces during function are neutralized. In this article, the importance or the neutral zone in complete dentures and the methods applied in the determination of the neutral zone was evaluated.

Tam protezlerin stabili Leşinde etkili faktörler arasında; suni dişlerin pozisyonu, protez kenarlarının ve cilalı yüzeylerin şekli önemlidir. Yanaklar ve dudakların uyguladığı kuvvetlerin dilin meydana getirdiği kuvvetleri nötralize ettiği alan nötral bölge olarak adlandırılır. Tam protezler ağızda fonksiyon sırasında tüm kuvvetlerin eşitlendiği bu alanda yerleştirilmelidir. Bu makalede tam protezlerde nötral bölgenin önemi ve nötral bölgenin tespitinde uygulanan metodlar değerlendirilmiştir.
