In our study, our purpose is to investigate of the effect of age. sex and education of patients, trcaLcd in our conservative treatment clinic, on anxiety. Eighty patients. 52 were female and 28 were male, included in study. Samples were chosen among patients who apply to our clime the first time. Different, two anxiety test were used in this study, Denial Fear Survey (DPS) and Denial Anxiety Scale (DAS). Statistically age arid education were evaluated with Kruskal-Wallis and sex was evaluated with Mann-Whitney, Although, there was relation between sex and anxiety (p<0.01), there wasm'L relation between anxiety age and education fp >0.01). As a result, H was determined that in conservative treatment application age and education didnft cited anxiety, and female patients more affected than male from anxiety.

Çalışmamızda fakültemiz tedavi kliniğine başvuran hastaların yaş, cinsiyet ve eğitim durumlarının anksiyete üzerine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya. SO hasla dahil edildi, hastaların 52" si bayan, 28' i erkekti. Hastalar tedavi kliniğine ilk ke/. başvuran hastalar arasından seçildi. Bireylere Dental Fear Survey (DFS) ve Dental Anksiyete Skalası (DAS) olmak ü/.ere iki farklı anksiyete testi uygulandı. Yaş ve eğitim faktörü Kruskal-Wallis leşti, cinsiyet. Mamı-Whitney leşti ile istatistiksel olarak değerlendirildi. Anksiyctcntn yaş ve eğitim durumuylîi ilişkisi önemsiz bulunurken (p>0.01). cinsiyet faktöniylc arasındaki ilişki önemli bulunmuştur (p< 0 01). Sonuç olarak kon-scrvaüT icdavi uygulamalarında yaş ve eğilim durumu kişilerdeki anksiycleyi etkilemezken, bayan hastaların anksıyct.cyc dalıa eğimli olduğu saptannısstır.
