Abstract (2. Language):
Intercuspal position is the static occlusal position in which the tooth contact the most. In many instans occlusal arrangements of the dental restorations are done in this position. This study designed to analyse localisation of occlusal contacts of posterior teeth in imeicuspal position and numbers of contact in young adults having healthy teeth with no restoration. Fifty young adults with normal occlusion are included in this study. Perforations due to occlusal contacts are examined. In most of the samples the localisation of the occlusal contacts and the number of the contacts asymmetric distributions were found between the posterior teeth with no asymmetric of both arcs. The tooth contacts were mostly between maxillar and mandibular second premolar and first and second molar.
