This research has been done on the panoramic radiographics of 100 edentulous patients, 58 of whom was men and 42 patients was women. Mandibular ndge height have been examined according to age, sex and period of being edentulous; it has also been searched whether minntirv nf rpEornlmn is different on rieht and left sides or T™ J — ' " not. Bu araştırma, 58 erkek, 42 kadın toplam 100 dişsiz hastanın, panoramik radyografileri üzerinde yapılmıştır. Mandibular kemik yüksekliğindeki değişim yaş, dişsizlik süresi ve cinsiyetlere göre değerlendin İmiş, rezorpsiyon miktarının, sağ ve so] tarafta farklı olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Dişsizlik süresi ve yaşın, rezorpsiyon hızı ve miktarına etkili olduğu, sag ve sol tarafta farklı reznrpsi yontul meydana geldiği, cinsiyetler arasında istatistiksel bir fark olmadığı tesbit edilmistir.
