Abstract (2. Language):
Purpose: Research purpose is to assess Azerbaijan's foreign investment potential within the context of present
and future level of economic development of the country and to emphasize the importance of compiling a new
strategy within this contex.
Design/methodology:A systematic approach and classification methods have been used.
Findings:Azerbaijan's foreign investment potential was assessed within the context of present and future
level of economic development of the country and the main principles of compiling a new strategy were defined
within this framework.
Research limitations:are accured in making comparisions with alternative research materials relating to this
topic due to the lack of research works as the analyzing of investment strategy for Azerbaijan within stated con-texts is a new research topics for Azerbaijan economy.
Practical implications:The possibility of using proposals stated in paper according to present and perspective
levels of economic development of Azerbaijan Republic during compiling foreign investment strategy.
Originality/value:Assessment of the foreign investment potential of Azerbaijan within the context of present
and future level of economic development of the country and emphasizing the importance of compiling a new
strategy within this contex

Tədqiqatın məqsədi:Azərbaycanın müasir və perspektiv iqtisadi inkişaf səviyyəsi
kontekstində ölkənin xarici investor olaraq potensialını qiymətləndirmək və bu is-tiqamətdə yeni strategiyanın formalaşdırılmasının əhəmiyyətini əsaslandırmaqdan
ibarətdir.
Tədqiqatın metodologiyası:sistemli yanaşma və statistik qruplaşdırma metod-ları.
Tədqiqatın nəticələri: Azərbaycanın müasir və perspektiv iqtisadi inkişaf
səviyyəsi kontekstində ölkənin xaricə investisiya qoyuluşu potensialı
qiymətləndirilmiş və bu istiqamətdə yeni strategiyanın formalaşdırılmasında başlıca
prinsiplər müəyyənləşdirilmişdir.
Tədqiqatın məhdudiyyətləri:Azərbaycanın müasir və perspektiv iqtisadi inkişaf
səviyyəsi kontekstində xaricə investisiya qoyuluşları strategiyası yeni tədqiqat
mövzusu olduğundan bu mövzuda tədqiqat işlərinin yoxluğu (azlığı) səbəbindən
müqayisələr aparılacaq alternativ tədqiqat işlərindən istifadə edilməməsi.
Tədqiqatın praktiki əhəmiyyəti:tədqiqatda irəli sürülən müddəaların Azərbay-canın hazırkı və perspektiv iqtisadi inkişaf səviyyəsinə uyğun olaraq yeni xarici in-vestisiya strategiyasının hazırlanmasında istifadə edilmə imkanı.
