A RESEARCH ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE PROCESS OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

This study analyses the relationship between information sharing and emotional intelligence depending on the literature. The research was conducted through the analysis of the data collected from 412 nurses employed at 11 different hospitals of TSK (Turkish Army) Medical Command. According to the res ults of this heuristic research, there is a positive relationship between the sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence, such as emotional appraisal, empathic sensitivity, positive regulation and positive utilization and the dimensions of knowledge sharing, such as explicitness of intra-organizational channels, conditions restricting information, employees’ perceptions about knowledge sharing and viewpoint about the knowledge.

Bu çalışmada, literatüre dayalı olarak bilgi paylaşımı ile duygusal zeka arasındaki ilişki incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma, TSK Sağlık Komutanlığı bünyesinde 11 farklı hastanede görev yapan 412 hemşireden toplanan verilerin analize tabi tutulması ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Keşifsel nitelikte olan bu çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre duygusal zekânın alt boyutları olan duygusal değerlendirme, empatik duyarlılık, pozitif duygusal yönetim ve duyguların olumlu kullanımı ile bilgi paylaşımı boyutları olan kurum içi bilişsel kanalların açıklığı, bilgiyi engelleyen durumlar, bilgi paylaşımını gerektiren durumlar ve bilgiye bakış açısı arasında pozitif bir ilişki bulunmuştur.
