In this study, the effects of lead (PbCl2) one of the significant environmental pollutant, on mitotic divisions of Anatolian Black pine was investigated. Different concentrations (300pM, 500pM and 700pM Pb+2) of lead were applied. Due to the increase of the lead concentrations, cell division was decreased, several mitotic anomalies such as c-mitosis, lagging chromosomes, multipolar anaphases and chromosome bridges were increased.
