Onnia tomentosa (Fr.) P. Karst.,which is an important parasitic fungi as the causal agent of white rot of the heartwood in roots of conifers. It is recorded for the first time at genus level in Turkey. The typical features of this fungus are central stipe, subulate and straight setae along with smaller spores than the other closer species

Konifer kök özlerinde önemli bir parazit olan ve beyaz çürüklüğe neden olan Onnia tomentosa (Fr.) P. Karst. Türkiye'den ilk kez cins seviyesinde kayıt edilmiştir. Bu mantarın tipik özelliği merkezi bir sap, subulat ve düz seta ile diğer yakın türlerden daha küçük sporlarının olmasıdır
