Abstract (2. Language):
Discrete multi-tone (DMT) modulation is an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based modulation scheme used in asymmetrical digital subscriber line (ADSL) and proposed for various other high-speed broadband access systems. To enhance the bit error rate (BER) for the DMT-ADSL, a discrete multi-wavelet transform (DMWT) model is proposed. The performance of standard and proposed models is sim¬ulated using Matlab software under the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel effect. The effect of impulse random bit location noise was also taken into our simula¬tion. The simulation results show that the proposed model based on DMWT technique outperforms the standard model in terms of BER.
Abstract (Original Language):
Ayrık çoklu-tonlamalı (DMT) modülasyon, asimetrik dijital abone hatlarında kullanılan bir dik frekans bölmeli çogullama (OFMD) modülasyon modelidir ve diger hızlı genis bantlı erisim sistemleri için de önerilmektedir. DMT-ADSL'in bit hata oranını (BER) gelistirmek icin bir ayrık coklu-dalgacık donüsüm (DMWT) modeli onerilmistir.
