The purpose of the study is to point out the factors that affect the job satisfaction levels of the employees who have worked in retail sector. There are 140 answerers in the aggregate of the scope of the survey and the questionnaires were applied face to face. On data evaluation process frequency distribution, percentage, chi-square analysis and factor analysis were applied. As a result of factor analysis which was done to decrease 29 variables, 7 basic factors were found. These factors are support of senior management, work conditions and communication, the hygienic structure of work place, food, work conditions and state of belonging, job description and manager attitudes and wage respectively. Beyond the factor analysis, relationships between job satisfaction and some demographics were also tested.

Bu çalışmanın amacı perakendecilik sektöründe çalışanların iş tatminini etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Toplam 140 cevaplayıcı araştırma kapsamında olup, hazırlanan anketler yüz yüze görüşme yoluyla cevaplandırılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde frekans dağılımları, yüzdeler, ki kare analizi ve faktör analizi uygulanmıştır. 29 değişkeni azaltmak için yapılan faktör analizi sonucunda iş tatminini etkileyen 7 temel faktör bulunmuştur. Bunlar sırasıyla üst yönetim desteği, çalışma koşulları ve iletişim, çalışma ortamının hijyenikliği, yemek, çalışma koşulları ve aidiyet, iş tanımı ve yönetici tutumu ile ücrettir. Faktör analizinin yanı sıra iş tatmini ile bazı demografik özellikler arasında ilişkiler de test edilmiştir.
