Abstract (2. Language):
Phytoplankton communities of Great Lota Lake and water quality properties of the lake water were examined between January 2001 and December 2001. 78 taxa belong to seven divisions in Phytoplankton. Of these taxa belong to 29 Chloroophyta (37,2 %), 28 Bacillariophyta (35,9 %), 13 Cyanophyta (16,7 %), 3 Pyrrophyta (3,8 %), 3 Cryptophyta (3,8 %), 1 Euglenophyta (1,3 %) and 1 Xanthophyta (1,3 %). The annual means of temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, total phosphate, nitrate, amonia, silica, calcium, sulphate and chlorophyll are 18.9 oC , 6.5 mg/L, 8.3, 58 μg/L, 0.3 mg/L, 0.1 mg /L, 3. 6 mg/L, 449 mg/L, 269 mg/L and 1.5 μg/L respectively. The Great Lota Lake exhibits oligo-mesotrophic character in terms of the biological and chemical properties. Inland water resources classification criteria (WPCR) according enters the water class I and class II.
Abstract (Original Language):
Büyük Lota Gölü fitoplankton toplulukları ve su kalite özellikleri Ocak 2001-Aralık 2001 tarihleri arasında incelenmiştir. Fitoplanktonda 7 bölüme ait toplam 78 takson belirlenmiştir. Bu taksonların 29 tanesi Chlorophyta (% 37,2), 28 tanesi Bacillariophyta (% 35,9), 13 tanesi Cyanophyta (% 16,7), 3 tanesi Pyrrophyta (% 3,8), 3 tanesi Cryptophyta (% 3,8), 1 tanesi Euglenophyta (% 1,3) ve 1 tanesi Xanthophyta (% 1,3) bölümlerine aittir. Büyük lota gölünde yıllık ortalama sıcaklık: 18,9 oC, çözünmüş oksijen: 6,5 mg/L, pH: 8,3, toplam fosfat: 58 μg/L, nitrat: 0,3 mg/L, amonyak: 0,1mg /l, silika: 3,6 mg/L, kalsiyum: 449 mg/L, sülfat: 269 mg/L ve klorofil a: 1,5 μg/L’dir. Biyolojik ve kimyasal özellikleri bakımından oligo-mezotrofik karakter gösteren göl, Kıta içi su kaynaklarının sınıflandırma kriterleri (SKKY)’ne göre I ve II sınıf su sınıfına girmektedir.
