Abstract (2. Language):
The purpose of the present study was to analyze the relationship between personality and conflict management styles of managers. Total of 315 government and private sector managers completed questionnaires. One of the results of this study is that there is a relationship between personality and conflict management styles. Extraversion, openness and conscientiousness have a positive relationship with integrating style. The results indicate that managers with high openness and agreeableness scores don’t prefer dominating style. While neuroticism and agreeableness have a positive relationship with avoiding style, openness has a negative relationship. The results of this study can lead the way for the future researches on personality and conflict management styles.
